Job Duties

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist with the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions utilizing imaging and laboratory findings
• Work closely with surgeons to design and implement individualized surgical treatment strategies
• Offer essential intraoperative assistance, including prepping the surgical environment, ensuring optimal patient positions, and managing surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative patient care, covering medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Preference for candidates with surgical-focused clinical rotations

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS credentials required
• Possession of State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills

• Strong understanding of surgical protocols and sterile practices
