David Bradley Associate s is seeking an experienced Export Coordinator on behalf of a well-established international freight forwarder based at JFK Airport . This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic logistics team responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of international air export shipments, ensuring smooth, timely, and compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full export process from booking through to delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, airlines, and customs brokers.
- Prepare and process export documentation accurately and in compliance with international shipping regulations.
- Coordinate shipments to ensure timely movement and adherence to U.S. and foreign customs requirements.
- Monitor shipment progress and provide proactive communication to customers.
- Obtain and manage rate quotations, liaising with carriers to ensure optimal routing and cost efficiency.
- Maintain organized records, documentation, and correspondence related to export activities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support seamless operational flow.
Requirements
- Proficiency in CargoWise is essential – candidates must have hands-on experience with the system.
- Experience with Letters of credit and Hazardous materials is a plus
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in export operations, ideally within freight forwarding or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of international freight procedures and export compliance regulations.
