Our facility offers detox and residential services, ensuring a structured and therapeutic environment for client recovery. Overview We are currently recruiting a dependable and compassionate individual to fill a Culinary Aide position. Are you passionate about food and looking to make a difference? The role plays a key role in supporting clients on their recovery journey by preparing and serving nutritious, comforting meals in a compassionate, structured environment. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes, menu plans, and special dietary requirements. Ensure meals are served on time, at the right temperature, and with care for client dignity and recovery support. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen and dining areas. Properly handle and store food, ingredients, and leftovers. Collaborate with the Culinary Manager to support menu planning and inventory. Provide input on meal improvements based on client needs and preferences. Follow all sanitation, infection control, and dietary guidelines. What You Bring: Ability to cook meals from scratch in a high-volume setting. Familiarity with basic nutrition, dietary needs, and food handling best practices. Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to support those in recovery. Ability to work well as part of a team in a structured, healthcare-related environment. Prior food service or cooking experience required. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. ServSafe or other food safety certification (or willingness to obtain). Experience in a residential, healthcare, or institutional kitchen setting. Work Environment: Full-time, on-site position Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends Why Join Us?
