Registered Respiratory Therapist

The position requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Responsibilities include providing respiratory care to patients. The therapist will assist with intubation and extubation procedures. Nasal and oral airway placements and suctioning are essential skills. The role includes managing tracheostomies and conducting sputum specimen collections. Therapists will work with high-flow nasal cannulas and various types of masks. Proficiency in troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and weaning from mechanical ventilation is expected. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend and every other holiday. Travelers will float within the scope of Respiratory Therapy as needed. Medical and religious exemptions are allowed for vaccine requirements.
