Banquet Captain Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour Shift: Needs flexibility Location: Marriott Crabtree, 4500 Marriott Drive, Raleigh, NC 27612, USA Responsibilities Provide exceptional guest service to all customers. Lead the team with motivation, direction, and assure that all standards of quality are in place. Greet guests and be responsible for accommodating all guests’ needs during an event. Communicate effectively with guests about menu questions. Deliver food and beverages from staging areas to guests as needed to assist the team. Assist other servers during peak periods in delivering food and guest requests. Train others on serving plated and reception style meal services. Anticipate guest needs and monitor dining experience to ensure satisfaction. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests. Oversee setup, execution, and clean‑up for an event. Perform side work to prepare for upcoming events. Ensure all service areas are kept clean and safe at all times. Maintain a professional and personable appearance. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: Previous banquet experience; experience in a leadership role; courteous and respectful to guests, clients, coworkers; punctual, reliable, and flexible with scheduling according to business needs.
