This position offers hands-on experience in Product Marketing, providing an opportunity to learn and contribute to real projects that impact the organization.Overall responsibility includes assisting and supporting the development and execution of the overall marketing strategy for the Pro product categories. These categories include Exhaust Ventilation product categories are the legacy products of the Broan-NuTone company along with our Fresh Air Systems and Kitchen Ventilation products. These product categories must incorporate futuristic innovation and market changing new ventilation solutions to solve target user pain points, while increasing their “comfort & convenience” to live a happier, healthier, and safer life, with their families in their homes.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and assist in Lead Product Lifecycle Management of assigned categories.Contribute to establishing the strategy for product marketing and provide input on new product “go to market” plan, digital marketing, market research, business intelligence, trade shows, advertising, promotional, merchandising, public relations, and marketing communications recommendations as it relates to category.Serve as a resource in defining and presenting for approval the marketing requirements and business case justification for new product development scopes incorporating market dynamics, performance features, pricing, voice of customer, forecast and cross-functional team input where needed.Partner in creating and presenting, with Product Management, product training programs internally and externally to key customers related to the assigned categories.Lead as subject matter expert on assigned category to create product content and recommendations in support of key account management, line reviews, new account development both in person and with content as needed.Support and assist to ensure the new products are successfully managed and launched within the Stage-Gate process on time, on budget, and in scope in conjunction with the assigned Project Manager. Lead or provide marketing representation to cross functional new product development teams as assigned.Provide facts, data and input to provide product input for annual marketing strategies, budgets, and plans and overarching brand and channel strategies; needed for approval of product marketing components of plan.Lead and support the market share opportunity matrix. Understand, via outside and internal information/estimations, the overall Pro market share and how our major competitors fit into the overall exhaust ventilation market. Detailed by product category type, both units and dollars, is critical to help lead major directives to maintain and gain future market share.What You'll GainExposure to key areas of Product Marketing, Product Management, Market Research, Customer Insights, and New Product Development.Experience working on business-critical projects that impact product strategy and market success.Opportunities to collaborate with leaders and cross-functional teams across the organization.Development of professional skills including communication, data analysis, project management, presentation development, and strategic thinking.Hands-on experience with product launches, customer-focused marketing strategies, and business decision-making processes.Mentorship from experienced marketing and business professionals.Job Requirements:Currently enrolled in a degree seeking program, preferably majoring in Marketing.Potential to demonstrate experience of entrepreneurial, futuristic, and advanced thinking capabilities.
