Haraz Coffee House is seeking an experienced and motivated Coffee Shop Manager to lead daily operations, inspire a high-performing team, and deliver an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is a passionate hospitality leader who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, developing employees, maintaining operational excellence, and helping grow a premium coffee experience centered around quality, community, and customer service.

As the Coffee Shop Manager, you will oversee all aspects of café operations, including team leadership, scheduling, inventory management, customer satisfaction, beverage quality, and achieving business goals. You will play a key role in representing the Haraz brand and ensuring every guest receives outstanding service.

 

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, coach, and develop baristas and café team members to deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Create a positive, energetic, and team-oriented work environment.
• Train new employees on company standards, drink preparation, customer service, and operational procedures.
• Conduct team meetings, provide feedback, and support employee growth.
• Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and daily shift coverage.

Café Operations

• Oversee daily opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure smooth café operations during peak business hours.
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, food safety, and workplace safety.
• Monitor beverage quality and ensure consistency with company standards.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and create memorable guest experiences.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Customer Experience

• Build strong relationships with customers and create a welcoming café atmosphere.
• Encourage exceptional hospitality and attention to detail from the entire team.
• Promote a culture where customers feel valued and want to return.
• Support community engagement and local brand awareness.

Inventory & Financial Management

• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed.
• Reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.
• Assist with controlling labor costs, product costs, and daily expenses.
• Track sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support promotions, new product launches, and revenue growth initiatives.

Quality & Brand Standards

• Ensure all beverages, products, and service meet Haraz Coffee House standards.
• Maintain knowledge of coffee products, specialty beverages, and menu offerings.
• Ensure the café environment reflects the quality and culture of the Haraz brand.

 

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in coffee shop, café, restaurant, or hospitality management preferred.
• Previous experience leading and developing a team.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory, and operational management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently.
• Passion for coffee, hospitality, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialty coffee or barista experience.
• Experience managing a high-volume café or restaurant.
• Knowledge of POS systems and café operations.
• Experience with hiring, training, and performance management.
