Position Summary The Chemical Feed Product Coordinator is responsible for supporting and optimizing the growth and execution of Vessco Water's chemical feed equipment and systems business across the organization. This role serves as the subject matter expert between sales teams, manufacturers, customers, and internal operations to ensure opportunities are effectively managed from identification through project execution. This position exercises independent judgement in evaluating business opportunities, establishing processes, and recommending actions that impact sales growth, profitability, and customer success throughout the organization. The successful candidate will partner with regional sales teams, manufacturers, engineers, operations personnel, and platform partners to support business development efforts, improve internal communication, develop quotes and project activities, and help maximize Vessco Water's participation in chemical feed opportunities across municipal and industrial water and wastewater markets. This position requires a highly organized and collaborative individual capable of balancing customer support, sales coordination, project tracking, and internal communication while helping drive profitable growth. Key Duties And Essential Functions Process Creation and Implementation Develop, manage, and maintain standardized documentation processes, including submittals, invoices, and related project materials. Schedule order workflow and ensure orders are routed to the appropriate platform partner or internal resource. Sales Coordination & Opportunity Management Direct chemical feed sales opportunities across all Vessco Water territories. Provide guidance to regional sales teams with quotations, proposal development, and project tracking. Maintain visibility of active opportunities, backlog, and project status. Ensure timely follow-up with customers, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders. Track major projects and assist with strategic pursuit planning amongst Chemical Feed Specialists. Manufacturer & Vendor Coordination Develop and maintain strong relationships with key chemical feed equipment manufacturers and suppliers. Serve as the primary internal contact for manufacturer communications, pricing updates, and product information. Schedule manufacturer training sessions and technical presentations. Identify, assess, and recommend new manufacturers, technologies, and product offerings to support market expansion, revenue growth, and competitive positioning objectives. Support annual business planning activities with key manufacturing partners. Internal Collaboration & Project Support Lead communication between sales, engineering, service, and operations teams to support successful project execution. Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional Vessco Water products and services amongst the Chemical Feed Platform Partner Specialists. Ensure chemical feed opportunities are routed to the appropriate internal resources. Play a key role in project kickoff activities and facilitate communication throughout the project lifecycle. Assist with resolving order, delivery, and customer service issues. Quotation & Proposal Support Independently prepare and coordinate equipment quotations and proposals. Exercise independent judgment when evaluating exceptions to standard pricing, product offerings, and customer requirements. Partner with manufacturers and internal teams to obtain pricing, technical information, and lead times. Maintain standardized proposal templates and documentation. Ensure proposals are complete, accurate, and delivered on schedule. Assist with bid reviews and contract documentation. CRM, Reporting & Process Improvement Maintain accurate opportunity and customer information within CRM systems. Track sales activity, pipeline development, bookings, and revenue metrics. Develop regular reporting related to sales performance and project status. Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and efficiency.Assist in establishing and maintaining standard work processes related to chemical feed sales activities. Required Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience. 3+ years of experience in sales support, project coordination, customer service, or the water/wastewater industry. Strong organizational and project coordination skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and organizations. Travel: Approximately 20–30% to support customer visits, manufacturer meetings, Platform Partner Specialist Meetings, training activities, and internal collaboration efforts. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the municipal water and wastewater industry. Knowledge of chemical feed systems, metering pumps, analyzers, or related treatment equipment. Experience preparing technical quotations or proposals. Familiarity with municipal bidding processes and project delivery. Experience working with equipment manufacturers and vendor relationships. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is minimal.
