Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty applying for. License: Permanent Ohio license or Compact State License required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. Must-Have: - Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. - Must have a permanent Ohio license in hand at time of submission or Compact license for any starts after January 1, 2023. - Two references from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for, from assignments worked in the past 12 months. - Required certifications must be active with nothing pending. - Must work at least every other holiday. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Med/Surg Telemetry for night shifts. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. An active Ohio nursing license or acceptable Compact State License is required. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. During orientation, travelers will complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate tests, achieving acceptable scores on both assessments. Travelers will receive two attempts maximum to pass the necessary tests. Candidates must comply with nicotine-free facility requirements unless exempt. A negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine, must be completed within 12 months of the start date and updated annually. Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return for one year from the previous end date. Background checks and license history will be reviewed carefully.
