Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Job Description

Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive the correct therapy regimen. You will be responsible for performing various activities and functions in accordance with our policies and procedures, contributing to the accurate dispensing of drugs. Our mission is to simplify access to medication and deliver personalized care for the best possible outcomes. This is an onsite position with a work schedule from 9am to 6pm.

• Accurately count and label prescriptions to ensure patients receive the correct therapy regimen.
• Record drug storage conditions and manage any excursions.
• Conduct quarterly checks for expiration dates.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping for daily perpetual inventory.
• Assist team members as needed to ensure success.
• Handle biohazard materials properly following OSHA guidelines.
• Receive multiple drug orders in accordance with SOP standards.
• Perform monthly drug inventory.
• Assist the distribution team with documentation and information for proper shipments to patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Current CPhT Certified Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
• Registered technician through the NC Board of Pharmacy or achieve registration within 1 month of employment.
• Effective communicator.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Competent in basic computer skills.
• Multi-task oriented.
• Ability to effectively work with people.
• Conscientious and detail oriented.
• Flexible and adaptable.
• High School Diploma required.

• 2+ years of pharmacy operation experience.
• Experience with inventory checks.

This is an onsite position with a work schedule from 9am to 6pm. Enjoy perks such as an onsite gym and monthly birthday celebrations. The work environment requires handling assignments that are moderately complex, where judgment is needed in problem-solving and making routine recommendations.

This is a Contract position based out of Cary, NC.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
