Title:  RN – Emergency Department
Location: Syracuse, New York
Duration: 17 weeks
Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 11:30 AM; 12-hour shifts; every other weekend and some holidays

Weekly Gross: $2600-$2800(Based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in the Emergency Department.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and patient-care skills in an acute care setting.
• Provide patient care with minimal orientation and supervision.
• Care for patients with a range of emergency and trauma conditions.
• Work in a Level I/II trauma environment as applicable.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Utilize EPIC Electronic Medical Records.
• Work every other weekend and some holidays.

Requirements:

• Current New York State RN registration/license required.
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute-care experience within the past 2 years; job skills section indicates 2 years of experience required.
• Recent experience in a hospital of similar size and acuity, or experience at a trauma center.
• Adult and pediatric Emergency Department experience required.
• BLS certification required and must be eligible for recertification.
• Level I or Level II trauma experience highly desired.
• EPIC experience highly desired.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional license/certification must be in good standing.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check .
