Accounts Payable Clerk

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you’ll play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting vendor relationships, and ensuring payments are processed seamlessly. What You’ll Do: Process and verify vendor invoices accurately and on time Prepare and execute payment runs in accordance with company policies Maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledger accounts Investigate and resolve discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries Communicate with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth operations Perform basic analyses and reconciliations of payables activity to identify errors or irregularities Ensure compliance with internal controls and transaction verification procedures Support occasional billing activities and respond to related questions Keep financial records organized, accurate, and up to date What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree OR o High school diploma + 2 years of relevant experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Clear communication skills and a professional approach to vendor interactions Comfort working independently and taking ownership of day-to-day responsibilities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting systems is a plus Why VB Spine? Compensation: Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, with additional factors like territory requirements, qualifications, and performance taken into account. The typical pay range for this position is $60,000 – $67,000 annually, with potential for bonuses and incentives plus benefits. VB Spine reserves the right to offer compensation outside of this listed range. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
