Title: Quality Control Lab Technician Location: Cincinnati, OH Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday Overview This person is responsible for performing routine test procedures and reporting results. They must be able to use a computer for data entry and keep good records. They should be able to work with little supervision, safely and effectively. Responsibilities Performs all work in a safe manner, knows and reviews both laboratory and plant safety rules. Adheres to all lab and plant safety rules. Maintains work accuracy at a high level to ensure procedures are accurately followed and results properly recorded. Ensures that SOPs (in particular tests and specifications), information systems, calibration programs, ISO requirements, and company procedures are adequately implemented and maintained to comply with all company QMS requirements. Demonstrates competence with Microsoft Office. Uses time wisely to maintain a clean and safe environment while keeping up with normal workflow; meets overtime requirements for the department. Works independently with minimal supervisor intervention yet uses good judgment to involve a supervisor when needed. Expresses a good attitude by working with others, developing solid team performance, communicating clearly and effectively, and meeting organizational goals. Trains new employees in the day-to-day duties as requested. Required Education and Experience 2‑year degree in Engineering or Chemistry (preferred). 5 years of prior Lab QC experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong computer, organizational, analytical, and mathematical skills. Strong communication and time‑management skills. Preferred Education and Experience SAP Experience is a plus. Prefer experience in general color testing and color application testing.
