Founded in 1986, the company has grown from a small property management firm to one of the most trusted allies in real estate, overseeing multifamily, single‑family rentals, affordable housing, build‑to‑rent, active‑adult, and student housing across the country. Community Manager The Community Manager oversees all operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. Responsibilities include personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administrative, and risk management. The role ensures compliance with Asset policies, safety and fair housing guidelines, and liability concerns. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Personnel Management: screen, hire, train, coach, develop, and schedule on‑site staff; address performance problems and maintain compliance with company policies. Financial Management: achieve optimal net operating income; develop budgets, reconcile deposits and vendor invoices, and ensure accurate financial reports. Strategic Leasing Management: develop marketing plans, execute leasing techniques, manage resident complaints, and implement retention programs. Administrative & Maintenance Management: ensure accurate reporting, lead emergency response, monitor maintenance request turnaround, maintain property appearance, manage resources, and oversee work orders. Education / Experience High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or 4‑year housing industry experience; or 1‑2 years related experience. Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. Physical Requirements Regular communication, repetitive hand motions, and the ability to work overtime, weekends, and night hours. Standing or sitting for prolonged periods, moving around the property, and occasionally ascending/descending ladders or working in confined spaces. Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 lbs., operate machinery or power tools, drive vehicles or golf carts, and work in various environmental conditions. License / Equipment Reliable transportation required due to emergency on‑call responsibilities. Compensation for this position is competitive and includes a base salary ranging from $55,000 to $58,000 per year. Additional compensation may be provided through commissions and performance bonuses. Full‑time employees receive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance, a 401(k) with employer matching, paid sick days, and company holidays.
