Medical-Surgical ICU Nurse

As a Medical-Surgical ICU Nurse, you will provide critical patient care in a fast-paced intensive care environment, ensuring high standards of clinical excellence. You will collaborate with healthcare teams to monitor, assess, and support patients requiring specialized critical care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient conditions continuously to detect changes promptly.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Document patient information accurately within the Epic electronic charting system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Texas registered nurse license.
• Possess at least 2 years of ICU experience, with travel experience preferred.
• Maintain current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic charting and critical patient care skills.
• Ability to work night shifts (312-hour days) and adapt to fast-paced environments.
