Key Qualifications:

• Certification as a School Psychologist, with credentials valid for Texas or eligibility to obtain.
• Proven experience with psychoeducational testing and various formal/informal assessment tools.
• Thorough knowledge of special education laws, eligibility determinations, and IEP processes.
• Strong ability to interpret data, write clear reports, and communicate findings.
• Collaborative spirit and comfort working with diverse student populations.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and adept at managing multiple responsibilities.

Core Responsibilities:

• Administer, score, and interpret psychological and educational assessments.
• Participate in eligibility, review, and re-evaluation meetings.
• Provide insights and recommendations for educational planning and behavioral interventions.
• Consult with teachers, families, and support staff regarding students’ learning and behavioral needs.
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Offer crisis intervention and support as needed.
