Make an immediate impact supporting students and staff in a vibrant school community as a School Psychologist. This contract opportunity offers a chance to work onsite across 3–4 campuses, delivering essential psychological services and evaluations for elementary and high school caseloads. The position runs through 5/21/27 and is designed for a skilled professional passionate about supporting student success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct accurate Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs) and manage the evaluation process from consent to report.
- Attend and actively participate in Student Support Team (SST) and Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings.
- Keep up with state and district documentation requirements and timelines, ensuring compliance at every step.
- Provide comprehensive psychological services to students, collaborating closely with special education staff, campus administrators, teachers, and families.
- Travel between assigned campuses as needed; reliable transportation is required.
- Serve as a knowledgeable and approachable resource for campus teams seeking guidance on student needs.
Qualifications:
- Active and valid Texas School Psychologist License.
- Recent school-based psychology experience, specifically conducting FIEs.
- Confidence managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Superior organizational skills and effective multitasking.
- Commitment to onsite work; remote options are not available.
- Reliable transportation for travel among campuses.
