As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Controller in Auburn, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
- Support a professional environment by providing clear directions, assisting with visitor processing, and following post orders and communication protocols during routine operations and elevated situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
