Work Environment This full-time position is based onsite at our outpatient office located in Avenel, New Jersey. We prioritize flexible scheduling from Monday to Friday, allowing our therapists the freedom to choose their working hours to better fit their personal lives while delivering the utmost care to our clients. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical condition and limitations to develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize a variety of therapeutic methods including hands-on therapies, therapeutic exercises, and modern equipment to alleviate pain and increase mobility. Monitor and meticulously document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback. Educate patients, caregivers, and families on treatment protocols and the use of assistive devices ensuring a collaborative approach to care. Continuously reassess and establish new therapeutic goals to optimize patient rehabilitation outcomes. Stay current with the latest evidence-based practices by attending workshops and reviewing professional literature to enhance clinical skills. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse patient base including children and adults who are recovering from injuries, surgeries, chronic conditions, and other diagnoses. Our focus on individualized care means you will tailor your approaches to unique patient needs, ensuring a supportive therapeutic environment conducive to recovery and rehabilitation. Qualifications Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required. Must possess a valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective patient interaction and documentation. Strong computer skills, including familiarity with EMR systems. Ability to adapt quickly and maintain flexibility in a dynamic working environment. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of professional experience as a licensed Physical Therapist is required. Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is preferred. Familiarity with assistive technologies and devices enhances the treatment process for patients. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
