Production AssistantWe are hiring a Production Assistant for a top fashion company in NYC to provide support in the development and production of new styles from concept to production via interaction with internal and external cross functional partners.Pay: $27/hrResponsibilities:Interface with Design and Fabric team partners to monitor fabric, trim and wash development; owns approval processTrack and access weekly factory production status reports/approval status report and assess delivery risk as neededCommunicate daily with internal/external partners regarding style development, production and delivery informationAdhere to the TNA calendar; responsible for all sample tracking and to ensure on-time delivery of all developmentSends out PDM and packages to vendors, tracks deliveryMaintain and organize costing recordsMaintain and organize style information recordsOwn end to end purchase order process with merchants and MOSPartners with manager on garment cost, quantity, production planning, sourcing and deliveryInterpret collected information, react appropriately, and communicate with affected parties in a timely mannerPrepares and communicates the agenda for cross functional team meetings; attends and participates in meetingsPerform other duties as requiredAble to work in a hybrid environment, meaning that some work may be performed remotely but certain essential functions must be performed in-person/in-office based on the needs of the business.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or equivalentAt least 1 year of related work experience; Accessories experience is a plusPLM experience requiredAbility to act as liaison between many departments: excellent communication and analytic skills.Must be detail oriented, computer literate and able to handle multiple tasks at once.Must be knowledgeable of Google documents & Gmail, Excel, and PLM (or equivalent program)If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
