Roles & Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and treat patients with a personalized approach to restore function and mobility
- Develop and update comprehensive treatment and discharge plans of care
- Document services accurately and timely to ensure continuity of care
- Supervise and support PTAs and Rehab Techs in accordance with practice acts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
- Active Washington State PT license or ability to obtain one
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Excellent clinical reasoning and patient evaluation skills
- Ability to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs
- Team player who enjoys collaborating with other healthcare professionals
Education
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in physical therapy evaluation and treatment planning
- Skilled in direct patient care and rehabilitation techniques
- Strong documentation and communication abilities
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards
- Ability to supervise and guide therapy assistants
- Collaborative mindset for interdisciplinary teamwork
- Adaptability to various clinical settings and patient populations
