Position Overview:

We are seeking a driven and self-motivated Sales Representative to manage and grow a portfolio of retail and restaurant accounts. This is a base salary + commission role focused on both account management and new business development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing relationships while actively prospecting and opening new accounts to grow territory revenue. This is a performance-driven role in a fast-paced wholesale environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, grow, and retain relationships with existing retail and restaurant accounts
• Actively prospect and open new accounts within the assigned territory to drive sales growth
• Drive consistent sales activity through phone, email, and in-person visits
• Own territory performance with a focus on revenue growth and account expansion
• Visit accounts regularly to maintain relationships, monitor trends, and optimize product assortment and placement
• Process purchase orders and ensure accurate order entry and updates
• Coordinate with internal teams on order fulfillment, production, and shipping to ensure timely deliveries
• Prepare sales presentations using inventory and sales data to identify strong product opportunities for customers
• Develop deep product and industry knowledge to effectively position pricing, features, and recommendations
• Maintain and update client databases, tracking purchasing trends and identifying growth opportunities
• Plan and support promotional activities, tastings, and in-store/onsite events
• Attend sales meetings, take notes, and provide clear follow-ups and action items
• Track account payments and assist in ensuring timely collection when required
• Perform other sales-related duties as needed to support territory growth

Qualifications:

• 1–3+ years of experience in sales or account management (wine & spirits or wholesale industry strongly preferred)
• Proven ability or willingness to prospect and develop new business
• Experience working with liquor stores, restaurants, or retail beverage accounts is a strong plus
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Highly organized with strong time management and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and operate with urgency in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of retail math preferred
• Self-starter with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, or beverage industry trends is a plus
• Bilingual (Spanish or Chinese) is a plus

Compensation:

• Base salary + commission structure
