Endocrinology physician job in New York :

An office-based practice in Valley Stream, NY is currently seeking an Endocrinologist for a promising opportunity with their growing team. This role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of endocrine disorders in an outpatient setting.

About the Opportunity:

• Hybrid or Remote: onsite
• Shift: Day
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week
• Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm, no call
• Setting: Outpatient

Responsibilities:

The Endocrinologist will be responsible for:

• Diagnosing various endocrine disorders such as diabetes, thyroid and adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, and metabolic disorders
• Developing treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific condition
• Educating patients about their condition, treatment options, and potential complications
• Monitoring patients' progress through regular follow-up appointments and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Current unrestricted NYS medical license
• BE/BC in Endocrinology (MD/DO)
• BLS or ACLS certification required
• Strong diagnostic skills
• Proficiency in developing treatment plans
• Outstanding communication skills
• Compassionate patient care
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills

Desired Skills:

• 1-3+ years of experience in an outpatient setting
• Interest in Population Health Management
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
