Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist who enjoys making an impact in educational settings. This assignment begins July 31, 2026, and continues through May 31, 2027, supporting K-12 students across two school sites near Brazil, IN. With a caseload of 75-85 students, you’ll play an essential role in their communication growth and overall success.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana DOE SLP licensure required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC’s) preferred, due to potential SLPA supervision
- Previous experience providing school-based SLP services (assessment, intervention, documentation)
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse age range (K-12)
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct evaluations and deliver therapy services for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Communicate student progress to teachers, families, and IEP teams
- Supervise and collaborate with SLPAs if required
- Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and comply with all state and district guidelines
- Attend meetings, provide consultation, and support staff as a speech-language expert
- Manage your caseload efficiently across two sites, with full-time hours (40 hours/week, Monday through Friday)
