Shared Services Advisor

Shared Services Advisor – Contract – Pensacola, FL/Hybrid – $25.00 - $31.46/hr.

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Shared Services Advisor in Pensacola, FL/Hybrid.

Role Description

• A Shared Services Advisor provides guidance and support across various shared services functions to optimize operations and resolve employee inquiries

• Think of this as HR ops/employee support type work. Almost like an HR helpdesk but for internal employees. Basically a front-line HR advisory role where you directly help employees navigate complex situations like disability/leave

Skills & Requirements

• Knowledge of shared services models and operational efficiency practices

• Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills

• Excellent communication and advisory abilities

• Understanding of compliance and regulatory standards

• Answering phone calls/making phone calls- providing employees with information and guidance. Once the vendor approves employees’ disability claim, this position is the first point of contact for employees.

• Case management-answering cases that are submitted by employees with sometimes complex information and guidance.

• Other duties: Reviewing and updating separations in Oracle-HCM

• Working closely with vendor, other contractors, and advisors that are processing disability payments

• 2-5 years exp

• strong comm skills (fielding lots of calls)

• case mgmt: requires complex employee situations that require careful handling and documentation skills

problem solving skills

• HR ops & compliance awareness

• systems experience: big advantage if they have oracle HCM exp but similar HR tools are fine

• high volume environment
