Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and/or public agency personnel as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor access points and observe site activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or other concerning conditions. Document daily activities, incidents, and unusual observations, and communicate with supervisors and/or designated personnel regarding security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Handcuffing certification is preferred. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
