The role demands robust analytical capabilities, a profound understanding of investment principles, and the ability to operate effectively. Key responsibilities include:*Investment Sourcing and Evaluation:*\* Identifying and assessing new investment opportunities through market research, industry analysis, and competitive landscape assessments. Building a pipeline of potential targets aligning with the firm's investment criteria.*Transaction Execution:*\* Leading comprehensive due diligence efforts (financial, commercial, operational, legal). Developing intricate financial models (LBO, valuation) to support investment decisions. Managing advisors, drafting investment memoranda, and assisting in term sheet negotiation and documentation.*Portfolio Management:*\* Collaborating closely with portfolio company management to drive strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and performance monitoring.
