Registered Nurse - ICU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Variable schedule consisting of day and night shifts - 7a to 7p and 7p to 7a. Full-time availability required including weekends and holidays.

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our ICU team. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care and possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills. You are expected to provide nursing care to patients of various age groups and demonstrate proficiency in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medication as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification within 90 days of hire.
