Staff Accountant

Our client is an organization in the Waukesha County area that’s looking for a Staff or Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, organized, and has high attention to detail. This company offers a tenured team, a collaborative culture, and professional growth & development opportunities. This position is onsite. The salary for this position is $65K - $95K. The Staff or Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: RESPONSIBILITIES Perform bank reconciliations, deposit receipts, and monitor corporate credit card activity to ensure accurate financial records. Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice entry, check cutting, and tracking payments. Post journal entries and tie out account balances to supporting schedules for multiple entities. Prepare and review monthly financial statements Monitor accounting procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and business contracts. Assist in budgeting processes and create year-end financial packages for multiple entities. Support legal billing and 1099 preparation, including calculating billable time and monitoring rates. The Staff or Senior Accountant will possess the following: EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 2+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong written and oral communication skills in a business environment. Well-developed organizational skills with the ability to prioritize duties and meet deadlines. Ability to work successfully as part of a team environment.
