Senior Accountant
Edison, NJ | Hybrid – 3 Days in Office / 2 Days Remote
Direct Hire | $85,000–$100,000 + Outstanding Benefits

Kelly Services is partnering with a well-established global manufacturing organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of the month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and process improvement.
If you have strong GAAP knowledge, solid general ledger experience, and a background in manufacturing or cost accounting, this could be a great next step in your career.

What You'll Do

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare journal entries, account analyses, reconciliations, and financial reports
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Manage fixed asset accounting and capital expenditure tracking
• Support customer rebate and promotional program accounting
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash management activities
• Assist with inventory and cost accounting
• Review and support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities
• Review accounting staff work and provide guidance as needed
• Support internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Identify opportunities to strengthen accounting processes and internal controls

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
• Manufacturing and/or cost accounting experience preferred
• Experience with Power BI is a plus
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Experience reviewing or supervising accounting staff preferred
• Office products or manufacturing industry experience is a plus
