Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of clinical laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, address any discrepancies, and ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and maintain rigorous lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) should be obtained within the first year of hire.
• Keep your certification current for the duration of your employment.
