What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests in various disciplines—ranging from chemistry to hematology and immunology—following established protocols with accuracy.
• Interpret test results, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for the respective analyses when required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, participate in training new staff or student interns, and help maintain high standards of quality within the lab.
• Create and uphold a clean and secure work environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Ensure your certification remains current throughout your employment.
