• Be involved in specimen collection and preparation for analysis when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and help to maintain the lab's quality assurance standards.
• Uphold a clean and safe working atmosphere while adhering to all regulatory guidelines and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification with plans for ASCP or AMT certification.

Certifications

• Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) from ASCP or AMT to be achieved within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of your certification throughout your role.
