Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM with on-call requirements

Minimum Experience Requirements: 2 years of experience in a relevant nursing role

Certifications/Requirements:

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS/BCLS (Basic Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Job Description: This position involves providing care for patients in a Med-Surg/Tele telemetry unit. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in medical-surgical nursing and telemetry. Step down experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Equipment Used:

EMR System: Meditech
Pumps: Alaris
Medication Dispensing: Omnicell

Nurse-to-Patient Ratios:

Med-Surg/OBS: 1:6
Step Down: 1:4

Miscellaneous Information:

Cancellations: Contract can be canceled up to 3 times
Call: Opportunity to take call during low census periods with full-time staff
Holiday Coverage: Availability may be required
