Adjunct Faculty - International Psychology - DC Campus

Position Summary The Doctorate in International Psychology Program (DC Campus) at The Chicago School is currently seeking qualified individuals to teach Ph.D. level courses and supervise dissertation research studies of Ph.D. students. Courses at the DC Campus are taught on‑ground and online using the Canvas Learning Management System. Principal Duties Teach Ph.D. level courses and serve as dissertation committee chairs. Approve dissertation proposals (chapters 1, 2, 3) and selected committee readers. Assist students in developing and presenting the oral proposal defense. Participate in the oral proposal defense. Help students with the IRB application. Supervise data collection for research studies. Support students in developing chapters 4 and 5. Attend and facilitate the final dissertation defense. Actively participate in the student learning process. Post course‑related announcements regularly. Grade assignments promptly and provide quality feedback. Hold virtual office hours. Respond to all student emails within 24 hours. Issue final grades on time. Guide students throughout the dissertation process. Position Qualifications Doctoral degree in Psychology. Previous teaching experience in higher education (3 years preferred). International professional experience. Research and scholarship experience. Proven competencies in quantitative and qualitative research methods. Excellent writing skills. Technological competence. Compensation & Benefits This opportunity is budgeted at $1,124–1,540 per credit and may vary with course enrollment. Additional compensation factors may impact total compensation.
