Director of Marketing and Communications

The client seeks an innovative, strategic, and highly creative Director of Marketing and Communications to elevate the organization’s visibility, strengthen its reputation, and help advance an ambitious vision for growth. Reporting to the President and serving as a key member of the President’s cabinet, the Director will help shape and communicate the organization’s narrative in ways that resonate with prospective students, families, alumni, donors, faculty, and community partners. The Director will provide strategic leadership for institutional marketing, communications, brand stewardship, and digital storytelling. This role develops and implements integrated communications and marketing strategies that advance the organization’s mission, visibility, enrollment goals, and institutional reputation, including brand positioning, creative direction, media relations, enrollment marketing, publications, and digital engagement across multiple audiences and platforms. The Director will manage external consultants and collaborate closely with departments to support strategic communications priorities.
