Job Description

As a Security Officer Lobby Desk in Carmel IN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional financial institution location where you will serve as the first point of contact at the front desk welcoming visitors monitoring access and supporting security-related procedures with professionalism and this people-first role you will use communication attention to detail and integrity to help create a positive experience while working as part of a reliable and innovative team.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures and front desk protocols within a financial institution location.
• Monitor lobby and reception activity verify visitor access credentials and/or direct guests in accordance with security-related policies and post instructions.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
• Support access control functions by documenting arrivals departures deliveries and/or visitor interactions with accuracy and professionalism.
• Communicate with staff visitors and/or emergency responders regarding security-related concerns policy questions and front desk activity as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 1 years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
