Overhead Crane Operator
Overhead Crane Operator Location: Harrisburg, NC Pay: $19/hour + $0.75/hour shift differential Schedule: MondayFriday, 3:00 PM 11:00 PM Occasional Saturday work required Weekly Pay
Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspections to verify materials meet quality standards
- Properly hang finished products on designated racking systems
- Safely transport racked materials from the production area to the staging area using an overhead crane
- Prepare racks for the galvanizing process by ensuring correct placement and readiness
- Provide support to the robot operator during production as needed
- Conduct quality control checks to confirm materials are suitable for galvanizing
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience operating overhead cranes in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- At least 4 years of experience working in a construction or heavy industrial environment
- Ability to safely lift, push, and pull heavy materials
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Must be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
