Pay Rate: $36.71 per hour

Your Expertise Keeps Aircraft Airworthy


As an A&P Mechanic , you'll play a vital role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of aircraft. You'll perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on airframe and powerplant systems, helping ensure aircraft are mission-ready and compliant with the highest industry standards.


Every repair you complete and every inspection you perform contributes directly to safe and successful flight operations.

What You'll Do


In this hands-on role, you will:

• Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement of aircraft components and systems
• Inspect aircraft mechanical and functional systems to identify discrepancies and maintenance needs
• Troubleshoot and diagnose airframe and engine-related issues
• Test and replace defective or faulty aircraft parts
• Utilize a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment to support maintenance activities
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and maintenance publications
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with FAA regulations and established quality standards
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and records
• Support a clean, organized, and safety-focused hangar environment
• Participate in inspections and verification procedures to ensure aircraft airworthiness

Required Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications

• Active, current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification with no prior FAA violations
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Typically 5+ years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience
• Advanced skills in repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting aircraft airframes and engines
• Ability to understand and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and maintenance publications
• Reliable transportation to and from work locations
• Personal tools in good working order
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• Ability to pass and maintain Class 3 physical requirements, including a hearing test
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to safety and quality

Preferred Qualifications


The ideal candidate may also have:

• FAA Repair Station experience
• Aviation Quality Assurance experience
• Experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry
• Background with the U.S. Department of Defense or U.S. Military
• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
• Ability to travel as needed and work overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts

Physical & Working Conditions


This position requires working in an active aviation maintenance environment and includes:

• Frequent standing, walking, climbing, and movement throughout hangars and work areas
• Repetitive hand, arm, and finger movements requiring strong dexterity
• Lifting and carrying materials and equipment up to 50 pounds
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow
• Exposure to loud aircraft noise, chemicals, fumes, and hazardous materials
• Work in a safety-sensitive role responsible for the inspection and maintenance of aircraft and aviation equipment

Pay Details: $3.00 to $36.71 per hour
