As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.36 - $22.36 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Sat 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM Sun 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to healthcare facility staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with site requirements. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
