Salary: 120000K - 180000K

A highly regarded boutique litigation firm in Orlando is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to join its growing team. This firm is known for delivering the quality, sophistication, and trial readiness typically associated with large national firms, while maintaining a collaborative and agile environment.

The firm focuses on defending businesses that drive economic growth, including manufacturers, product companies, and other commercial entities facing complex civil litigation. Every case is analyzed, investigated, and prepared as though it will proceed to trial, reflecting a deep commitment to excellence in advocacy and client service. 

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience handling insurance defense or general civil litigation matters. This role offers hands-on litigation experience in sophisticated, high exposure cases and the opportunity to work alongside experienced trial attorneys with a strong reputation in the legal community.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of insurance defense litigation, from initial investigation through trial
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Appear at hearings and mediations
• Develop case strategy in collaboration with senior attorneys
• Prepare cases as if they will be tried to verdict

Practice Areas Supported

• Premises liability
• Product liability and complex tort matters
• Commercial and business litigation
• Transportation and trucking defense
• High risk and excess exposure cases 

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of insurance defense or civil litigation experience
• Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar
• Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Experience handling cases independently is a plus
• Deposition and motion practice experience preferred
