Vice President - Critical Infrastructure

GH Engage is supporting a high-growth data center organization in the appointment of a Vice President, Critical Infrastructure based in Virginia . This is a senior leadership opportunity to shape engineering strategy across a rapidly expanding US portfolio. You'll work across Development, Construction, Commissioning, and Operations , ensuring new facilities are successfully brought online while improving the performance, resilience, and reliability of existing sites. The Opportunity As Vice President, Critical Infrastructure , you'll serve as a senior technical authority for mission-critical infrastructure, partnering with executive and site leadership to drive engineering excellence across the organization. Based in Virginia , you'll have significant influence over how new data center capacity is delivered and operated, while helping establish scalable engineering practices to support continued growth. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic engineering leadership across a multi-site critical infrastructure portfolio Partner with project teams throughout design, construction, commissioning, and site activation Drive reliability, resiliency, and continuous improvement across operational facilities Provide technical direction for major infrastructure upgrades and capital investments Strengthen engineering and maintenance practices across critical MEP systems Support technical investigations and root-cause analysis for major operational events Develop engineering talent and technical capabilities across site teams Use operational data and performance metrics to identify risk and improvement opportunities Build alignment across Operations, Engineering, Construction, vendors, and senior leadership What You'll Bring 10+ years of data center or mission-critical infrastructure experience Senior leadership experience across engineering, critical facilities, commissioning, or operations Strong experience with large-scale data center environments Deep knowledge of critical MEP infrastructure, including switchgear, UPS, generators, power distribution, cooling, controls, and BMS Experience supporting projects from development through commissioning and steady-state operations Proven ability to lead and influence technical teams across multiple locations Strong business acumen and executive-level communication skills Ability to travel regularly from Virginia to sites across the US Annual Performance Bonus 401(k) with Company Match Generous PTO About GH Engage GH Engage specializes in engineering recruitment across the mission-critical and built environment sectors throughout North America, the UK, and EMEA, supporting the full lifecycle from design and construction through commissioning, operations, and maintenance. #J-18808-Ljbffr GH Engage
