Accountant - Acute Setting

Are you a skilled and detail-oriented accountant seeking a rewarding career in the healthcare sector? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team located in New Jersey.

Shift Details: M-F (5x8 hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities for an Accountant:

  • Financial Management: Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data, oversee budgeting processes, and provide insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Compliance: Stay abreast of healthcare financial regulations and ensure adherence to industry standards. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to maintain compliance.
  • Reporting: Generate timely and accurate financial reports for internal stakeholders and external agencies. Contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to understand their financial needs and provide support to achieve organizational goals.

Accountant Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred but not required)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare accounting preferred
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
