Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant & Shipping Manager to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will play a critical part in supporting both the financial operations and shipping logistics of the company. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions and reports while also overseeing daily shipping activities to ensure on-time, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of products. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets. Record and process journal entries and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded. Reconcile all accounts. Manage customer collections and supplier payments. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. Review and maintain financial records for accuracy and compliance. Help with tax preparation and filing. Schedule both domestic and international shipments. Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain cash flow records. Assist in internal and external audits. Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned. Support general aspects of the business. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2+ Years of Business Accounting experience. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements. Proficiency with QuickBooks. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Experience with Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
