Human Resources Associate - Pre-Employment Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $24.17 per hour Calendar: 2611H (12 MONTH) Benefits: PTO, holidays, matched retirement via the Arizona State Retirement System, health and life insurance, wellness, professional growth credit Job Goal Perform a wide variety of clerical and technical duties related to the operation of the Human Resources Department. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent plus post‑graduate work in business or related fields Experience in Human Resources or a related field Demonstrated knowledge/training in customer service and communication skills Knowledge of office procedures and practices Ability to type accurately at an acceptable rate of speed and to operate standard office equipment, including a computer Proficient in standard office software programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Proficient in standard Google programs: Docs, Sheets, Forms Knowledge of and adherence to all policies, regulations, and rules Satisfactory criminal background check Adequate vision and hearing to exercise job responsibilities safely Core Job Functions Perform clerical work including data entry, typing, filing, record keeping, and preparing reports Maintain accurate employee personnel records in the software system and on physical records as needed Conduct background checks on all recommended applicants, including employment references and fingerprinting Conduct transactions with employees and the public, requiring knowledge of rules, procedures, policies, and activities Receive inquiries via telephone or in person and provide appropriate information Prepare reports, bulletins, and directories Conduct and respond to surveys Maintain confidentiality of files, including applications Conduct new employee orientations and coordinate post‑employment paperwork Assist the substitute coordinator Cover receptionist duties as requested Perform other duties related to the general job function as assigned Carry out all duties safely and prudently as directed Operate and care for school district equipment properly Core Values Excellence in all we do, valuing high quality in all aspects of the organization Equity and fairness, ensuring all students, staff, and patrons have a fair opportunity to succeed Collaboration, fostering effective decision‑making and morale enhancement Integrity, honesty, and reliability as core foundations Efficiency, stewarding public resources responsibly Professional Qualities Respond to customers promptly, efficiently, friendly, and patiently Function effectively as a team member Be responsible, reliable, and punctual Adaptable to change Accept direction positively Maintain courteous cooperative relationships with students, staff, and parents Provide constructive criticism to improve the district Apply problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills Adhere to the appropriate dress code Protect sensitive information on a need‑to‑know basis Serve as a positive role model for students Work professionally across diverse groups Physical Requirements Physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, and sitting may be required Requires finger or manual dexterity, repetitive finger motion, speaking, hearing, seeing (with correction), and focusing ability Exposure to travel, odors, dust, poor ventilation, workspace restrictions, and loud noises possible May require lifting up to 40 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently Reasonable accommodation available for individuals with disabilities Job Requirements Citizenship, residency, or work visa required #J-18808-Ljbffr Young World Physical Education
