Director of Preconstruction

Niche SSP is partnering with a leading national General Contractor to recruit a National Preconstruction Director for its growing Advanced Manufacturing / Science & Technology division. This is a senior leadership position responsible for preconstruction strategy, teams and delivery across multiple markets and major technically complex projects. The Role Lead and develop preconstruction teams across multiple offices/regions Oversee major pursuits, estimates, GMPs and preconstruction strategy Drive consistency across estimating, VDC, procurement and preconstruction processes Partner closely with Operations and Business Development Lead client presentations and help shape capture strategies for major opportunities Develop relationships with key owners, designers and trade partners Support conceptual estimating, value engineering, procurement and project risk strategy Build, mentor and develop the next generation of preconstruction leaders What We're Looking For 10-15+ years in preconstruction/estimating within a major GC Proven experience leading teams and managers across multiple projects or locations Strong client-facing and business development capabilities Experience delivering large, technically complex projects Background in Advanced Manufacturing, Mission Critical, Life Sciences or Science & Technology highly desirable Experience with CMAR, Design-Build and/or IPD Strong executive-level communication and commercial acumen This is an opportunity to take a national leadership role within a major growth division , helping shape the preconstruction function, develop teams and influence some of the contractor's most significant projects. #J-18808-Ljbffr Niche SSP - No.1 for Estimating Talent
