What You Will Do
- Polish, deburr, size and finish aerospace metals, like aluminum, stainless steel, cobalt and nickel alloys to exact specifications
- Create flawless surface finishes, removing scratches, burrs, and imperfections while maintaining dimensional integrity
- Work with a variety of hand and power tools, particularly hand grinders
- Follow work instructions and complete quality paperwork as required
- Inspect surface finishes and dimensions using micrometers, calipers, height stands, and visual inspection tools
- Keep work area clean and organized and follow all safety procedures
- Work as part of a collaborative team to build quality products that you're proud to put your name on
What Experience You Need
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not required. We will provide the on-the-job training! This is a great position to get started in manufacturing!
