Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during sessions, offering clear and empathetic explanations of procedures
• Collaborate closely with radiology professionals and referring physicians to ensure superior diagnostic image quality
• Expertly operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Accurately document examinations and maintain patient records in the electronic medical record system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or comparable
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is advantageous
