This position requires outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.You will collaborate with the Plant Manager, Human Resources, leadership teams, vendors, and employees while serving as a central point of contact for office administration, travel coordination, employee communications, and facility support. This is a full-time, onsite role located in **Rochelle, IL.**This role is perfect for someone who enjoys supporting others, thrives in a dynamic environment, and takes pride in keeping operations organized and running smoothly.**What You'll Do*** Provide administrative support to the Plant Manager, Human Resources, and facility leadership team.* Prepare reports, presentations, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other business documents.* Maintain confidential files, records, and documentation with a high level of accuracy and discretion.* Coordinate meetings by preparing agendas, recording meeting minutes, and tracking follow-up items.* Manage calendars and scheduling for leadership as needed.* Arrange business travel, including airfare, hotel accommodations, rental vehicles, and transportation.* Prepare travel itineraries and assist employees with travel-related changes or issues.* Ensure travel arrangements comply with company travel policies.* Manage incoming and outgoing mail, shipments, and package deliveries.* Order and maintain office, breakroom, and kitchen supplies.* Coordinate catering, refreshments, and meeting logistics for training sessions and company events.* Reserve conference rooms and maintain an organized, professional office environment.* Welcome visitors, contractors, vendors, and business partners while coordinating visitor access and meeting logistics.* Serve as the primary point of contact for office vendors and coordinate vendor visits and deliveries.* Create and distribute employee communications, announcements, production schedules, and internal job postings.* Maintain digital communication boards and employee information displays.* Coordinate employee appreciation events, recognition programs, meetings, and engagement activities.* Support new employee onboarding activities as assigned.* Lead and promote healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy.* Perform other duties as assigned.**Who You Are*** High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.* Minimum of two years of administrative or office support experience.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.* Experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint preferred.* Experience using travel booking systems is a plus.* Ability to quickly learn company-specific software and business systems.* Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Professional demeanor with outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.* Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.* Dependable, flexible, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.* Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.**What You'll Get**Zekelman Industries offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits, including low-cost, high-quality medical and dental benefits.
