Tax Analyst

Looking to take your tax expertise beyond traditional return preparation and into tax technology? We’re hiring a Tax Analyst Programmer I for an opportunity where you’ll combine hands-on tax knowledge with software testing, requirements analysis, and product development. What you’ll be doing: Research federal and state tax law changes Translate tax regulations into clear business and software requirements Validate tax calculations, forms, and tax scenarios for accuracy and compliance Develop test cases and identify software defects Partner with product, engineering, and quality teams Help improve the end-to-end tax software experience What we’re looking for: 3–7 years of tax preparation or tax analysis experience Strong hands-on experience preparing both individual and business tax returns Strong tax research and tax compliance background Solid understanding of federal and state taxation Experience with professional tax preparation software Any programming or scripting experience is a strong plus This is a great opportunity for a tax professional who wants to expand into tax technology while still using their core tax expertise.
